Mitch Wein is the Head of Community Banking at Aite-Novarica Group and leads a research council of CIOs and CTOs from community banks and credit unions. He has expertise in international IT leadership and transformation as well as technology strategy for banking, insurance (life, annuities, personal, commercial, specialty), and wealth management.

Prior to joining Aite-Novarica Group, Mitch served in senior technology management positions at numerous financial institutions. At Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank), he automated syndicated loans and was involved with asset-based lending. At AXA, Mitch was Interim CIO of AXA Ireland in Dublin, Chief Architect and Head of CTO for AXA UK in London, and CTO of AXA Equitable in New York. While at AXA, Mitch was a member of the global AXA Group Architecture Review Board and Information Systems Architecture Committee Board in Paris, and he co-developed the AXA IT Strategy and Group Target Architecture. Prior to AXA, Mitch was CTO for the Domestic Brokerage Group and Domestic Personal Lines at AIG.

Mitch holds both an MBA in Information Systems and a B.S. in Finance from Fordham University.
