Kristen Extine

Kristen Extine works as a Senior Editor at Aite-Novarica Group. As part of the editorial team, Kristen closely reads reports prior to publication and works with analysts to ensure that all writing is grammatically correct, consistent, and clear. Kristen also works behind the scenes on a variety of tasks, including putting together supporting materials for reports, editing surveys, and posting reports to the website. Her ultimate goal is to provide Aite-Novarica Group's clients with effective, easy-to-read research.

Before joining Aite-Novarica Group, Kristen worked as a copy editor of subscription-based newsletters in the wealth management industry. She has also worked as an editor of textbooks and college-preparedness resources in the secondary education industry. Kristen values effective writing and has dedicated her career to helping professionals in their efforts to publish clean and knowledgeable work. Her favorite quote, which she believes accurately describes her career, is by Arthur Plotnik: “You write to communicate to the hearts and minds of others what's burning inside you. And we edit to let the fire show through the smoke.”

Kristen holds a Master of Arts in English with a concentration in Writing and Linguistics from Northwestern State University of Louisiana as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Writing and Culture and a minor in Communication Studies from Louisiana State University.
