Boston, September 6, 2011 – A new report from Aite Group provides insight into Maurice R. Greenberg’s views on the insurance industry and financial community. The report—the transcript of a conversation between Mr. Greenberg and Aite Group research director Clark Troy—touches on topics such as building a culture of underwriting, perceiving and responding to future risks, and doing business in China. Mr. Greenberg is chairman and CEO of C.V. Starr & Co. Inc. and the Starr Companies. He is also chairman of the Starr Foundation, where he oversees the disbursement of major financial support to a wide range of academic, medical, cultural, and public policy institutions. Mr. Greenberg retired as chairman and CEO of AIG in March 2005, having served as chief executive officer since 1967. Under his leadership AIG became the largest insurance company in the world.
