March 2017 - According to a recent survey of Novarica Research Council CIOs, “talent” is the top IT-related challenge for 2017. As a result, a re-assessment of talent acquisition, management, and retention strategies is emerging as a top priority for carriers. Managing the flow and pipeline of the future labor force for carriers is key, as is recognition of the need to manage and support existing talent. Going forward, part of the challenge for IT leaders will be that existing policies and procedures, from a human resources standpoint, may not recognize nor be prepared for this evolving space.

This report details several approaches and considerations regarding the approach to improving the sourcing, management, and retention of talent.
