Boston, March 3, 2015 – A large body of literature and research already delves into ETFs in the context of the retail market, but the institutional investor’s approach to ETFs warrants special attention. The tools on the institutional trader’s desktop should be appropriate to support an increasing adoption of ETFs into portfolio strategies and workflows. But which workflows and tools should buy-side firms and broker-dealers review to best handle this dynamic and growing asset class?
This research is based on approximately 12 Aite Group interviews conducted over a two-month period in 2014 and will assist asset managers, investment advisors, chief information and technology officers, and financial technology vendors seeking to understand the ETF investment and trade life cycle or considering what tools to employ as they introduce or expand their use of ETFs.
