Looking Back at Novarica’s Town Halls—Looking Forward

Starting in March, Novarica began running weekly virtual Town Halls for its insurer community. The Town Halls began as a forum for our VP team to share their thoughts on the foreseeable impacts of COVID-19. These virtual events have since grown and evolved into an environment where participants chime in to discuss best practices and strategies.

We truly appreciate all the support and feedback we have received from the 200+ council members who have participated in these webinars. Their insights and questions are essential to the success of these events; the conversation would not be the same without them.

Novarica has had the pleasure of welcoming 18 industry IT leaders and CIOs to speak as panelists on topics ranging from disaster recovery and business continuity planning to managing remote workforces. The panelists’ willingness to share lessons and anecdotes while simultaneously running their organizations during the pandemic is a true testament to the nature of our community.

The Town Halls have provided Novarica and its community with numerous learning opportunities as well as a sounding board to debate the best way forward. This pandemic has leveled the playing field and forced us to learn along with our clients. We have been pleasantly surprised by our move to a virtual calendar and look forward to the continued discovery of new avenues for growth along the way.

Tomorrow, after a two-week break, we will pick up where we left off and host a virtual Town Hall that focuses on Novarica’s recent report, InsureTech for Insurers: 250 Startup Profiles. We will be joined by report authors Jeff Goldberg and Stephanie Dalwin and look forward to fielding questions from the community about the ever-growing InsureTech space and how best to engage with these startups.
