Virtual Events Associate

As Aite-Novarica Group’s Virtual Events Associate, you will work closely with the Manager of Marketing, Communication, and PR as well as other key stakeholders to provide logistical support for Aite-Novarica Group’s growing lead-generation webinar program, as well as other areas of content marketing. In this role, the individual will work closely with internal key stakeholders and clients to ensure that the logistical marketing objectives are met for all webinars. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, communicative, and when necessary clerical skills, be an energetic team player, and be able to juggle a variety of time-sensitive projects. The ideal candidate should have a professional interest developing responsibilities in the following areas of digital marketing: inbound marketing, email marketing, website development and analytics, and/or social media.

Responsibilities:

The Virtual Events Associate will be involved in the following areas:

  • Act as first point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients interested in booking dates for webinars
  • Meet with internal stakeholders to understand the purpose and goals of webinars, as well as any contractual deliverables for sponsored webinars
  • Create and manage webinar project plans and marketing setback schedules to ensure all audience acquisition and lead-generation goals are met
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure webinar information is entered into Salesforce accurately and in a timely manner
  • Build and manage webinar marketing and registration website landing pages
  • Manage webinar registration process
  • Participate in weekly webinar meeting with key stakeholders
  • Assist with development and execution of webinar marketing copy for website
  • Coordinate with the design team to source images for website and social media advertising
  • Help to manage the flow, content, and logistics of targeted email campaigns
  • Work with content marketing team to develop, implement, and measure standardized social media campaigns for webinars
  • Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past webinars
  • Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure the content marketing department runs smoothly
  • Provide additional just-in-time support to other members of the content marketing team as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate should bring either a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or one to three years of experience in managing webinar programs and/or marketing events. Candidates must be fluent in English (fluency in additional languages is always welcome) and possess excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—along with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. The candidate will carry a positive, can-do attitude within the marketing team as well as work independently and diplomatically across a variety of practice teams dealing with competing deliverables and personalities. Any experience in market research and/or the financial services industry (banking, securities and investments, and insurance) is a big plus, as well as experience using Salesforce and Pardot.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to see how details fit into the overall picture
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with GoToWebinar and/or ON24, RingCentral, WebEx, and Google Analytics preferred, but not required
  • HTML website and email design skills a plus
