Strategic Advisor, Wealth Management

Location: U.S., U.K., Remote

Aite Novarica Group’s Wealth Management practice provides clients with insights into the global business, technology, and regulatory trends affecting wealth management firms, their financial advisors, and their clients, empowering them to remain at the forefront of change. The practice serves a diverse client base, including global universal banks, broker-dealers, insurance companies, asset managers, independent advisors, technology vendors, and professional services firms.

Our advisors have domain expertise and have worked for financial or specialty software and service providers who support those institutions. Within those roles, they have worked to support business evolution and implement people, product, process, and technology changes.

As a Strategic Advisor, you will be a thought leader and trusted advisor to financial institutions, established technology vendors, startups, and venture capital firms. You will provide actionable recommendations to our customers by producing research papers, interacting with clients, and leading consulting engagements.

The ideal candidate brings solid industry expertise (5+ years of experience, ideally at a financial institution, industry association, management consulting firm, or leading technology vendor). The candidate will have experience in one or several of the following areas: fee-based platforms, financial planning/wellness, risk management, compliance systems and processes, retail trading, or trust accounting. This candidate will bring an understanding of technology and business strategies, strong and proven written and oral communication skills, the ability to formulate original analyses and actionable recommendations, and proven quantitative analysis skills. Candidates must be fluent in English (fluency in additional languages is always welcome). A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Aite-Novarica Group’s research process, including identification of key topics, primary and secondary research, and identification of best-in-class solutions
  • Interview executives and industry experts to identify their most pressing challenges, discover best practices, and develop insightful analyses
  • Produce high-quality research reports monthly
  • Provide ongoing support to the financial institutions and technology vendors that subscribe to the Capital Markets practice
  • Partner with the sales team to identify and pursue business opportunities
  • Meet performance goals for content production, advisory, consulting, and client support
  • Participate in and speak at industry events to drive awareness of the practice and represent our thought leadership
