Associate, Insurance Practice

Aite-Novarica Group, a research and advisory firm with several practices across financial services, is hiring full-time Associates in its insurance practice. Aite-Novarica Group associates work directly with our senior team on client-facing projects and proprietary research reports.

This is an entry-level role designed for applicants with one to two years of professional experience. Graduate students are also welcome to apply. No prior knowledge of financial services or enterprise IT is required, although an eagerness to learn is key. This position focuses on information gathering and qualitative rather than quantitative analysis, so applicants with humanities and liberal arts backgrounds are preferred.

Our associates demonstrate the ability to learn new subject matter quickly, excellent research analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to work collaboratively and/or independently as needed while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Key responsibilities include working with senior team members to create deliverables and written reports and to administer special projects and programs, as well as independently researching and developing personal expertise in key subject matter areas, analyzing and synthesizing information, and writing clear prose to present complex topics understandably.

Associates have direct interactions with our most senior team members and participate in meetings with our senior executive clients. Our business-casual office is located in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood. Candidates located within commuting distance from Boston are preferred, but this is not required. In-person team meetings will be held in the Boston office on a regular basis when safe to do so. Associates may travel to client sites approximately 30% to 40% of the time in the future. Currently, all work is done remotely.

Compensation package includes base salary, annual performance bonus, 401(k) with match, and full medical/dental/vision benefits.

Requirements:

  • B.A./B.S. from accredited U.S. college or university, 3.5 or better GPA, any major
  • U.S. citizenship or existing work authorization
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

To apply, please send resume, cover letter, and writing sample (no more than 500 words on an academic or general interest topic) to [email protected].

Aite-Novarica Group will never contact you from any domain other than @aitegroup.com, @novarica.com, or @aite-novarica.com.
