Boston, November 14, 2019 –Professionals focused on managing and evaluating risk in the financial services and insurance industries increasingly rely on analytics to gain insights and take appropriate action. While analytics platforms can help executives make sense of the vast array of data at their disposal, they may struggle to effectively gain or execute on insights if their platforms have limited capabilities or if they lack sufficient data science talent.

This report examines the existing analytical processes, data, and tools used by risk executives and the challenges they face as they attempt to orchestrate the analytics process across their organizations. It is based on a Q3 2019 quantitative online survey of 682 marketing and risk executives at financial services and insurance companies in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Hong Kong, and India.
