Business Development Manager

Location: U.S. Remote

Comprising former senior technology, strategy, and operations executives as well as experienced researchers and consultants, our experts provide actionable advice to our client base, leveraging deep insights developed via our extensive network of clients and other industry contacts.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to execute new logo sales of our Banking & Payments and Securities & Investments research subscriptions to vendors that target and serve the financial services industry. This is a pure new client acquisition (“hunter”) role.


  • Build deep knowledge of Aite-Novarica Group’s Banking & Payments and Securities & Investments Practices service offerings
  • Establish new business relationships with non-client organizations
  • Own the sales process from lead generation through contract close
  • Investigate and understand the business objectives of potential clients to develop and demonstrate a solution tailored to their needs
  • Effectively present the value of Aite-Novarica Group’s products and services to potential clients
  • Achieve the assigned quota by selling research services
  • Develop a realistic revenue forecast in coordination with the Head of Sales
  • Track activities and report on progress in

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of client services and B2B business development experience, the ability to engage C-level and senior leadership within prospective client organizations, a track record of overachievement on goals or quotas, proficiency in MS Office and, outstanding written and oral communication skills, and strong project management and organizational skills. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be fluent in English. A bachelor’s degree is required. Experience working with CIOs or CTOs in the financial services industry, research, and a subscription-based sales model is a plus.
