Aite-Novarica’s Capital Markets practice offers coverage of the most critical products and services the financial services industry relies upon. The practice serves a variety of firms, including sell-side banks and brokerage firms, clearinghouses, exchanges, buy-side institutions (such as hedge funds, asset managers, pensions, and endowments), and a range of financial technology companies, such as the market data community, trading technology providers, and other firms offering solutions and functionality along the entire trade life cycle.

As an Associate, you will work directly with our senior team on client-facing projects and proprietary research reports. Associates demonstrate excellent research and analytical skills, the ability to learn new subject matter quickly, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to work collaboratively and/or independently as needed while managing multiple projects and deadlines. No prior knowledge of financial services is required, although some experience is a plus, and an eagerness to learn is key.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Strategic Advisors to produce high-quality research papers as well as PowerPoint and Excel documents for client-facing deliverables
  • Providing ongoing support to the financial institutions and technology vendors that subscribe to the Capital Markets research practice
  • Conducting desktop research on key capital markets industry players and trends
  • Developing plans for projects and conducting research to collect, record, analyze, and evaluate facts
  • Partnering with team members to evaluate research data and the validity of findings


  • B.A./B.S. from accredited U.S. college or university
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
